Common questions

Where are my saved frames?

Frames are saved to your phone's gallery in the Pictures/FrameCapture folder (or the custom folder you set in Settings with Premium). They also appear in the app's Saved Frames screen.

Saved Frames is empty, but I have saved frames. What do I do?

The Saved Frames screen needs permission to read images. Tap the permission prompt, or allow Photos and videos access for Frame Capture in Android Settings → Apps → Frame Capture → Permissions.

How do I restore my Premium purchase?

Make sure you are signed in to Google Play with the same Google account you used to buy Premium, open the Premium screen in the app and tap Restore purchase.

A video won't open or shows an error.

Frame Capture uses Android's built-in video decoders, so very unusual formats or damaged files may not open. Try another copy of the video, and email us the device model and video format if the problem continues.

How do I get a refund for Premium?

Purchases are processed by Google Play, so refunds are handled by Google. Request one from your Google Play order history or the Google Play Help Center.

How do I change my ad consent choices?

Open Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app (shown in regions where it is required). You can also reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.

Request data deletion

Frame Capture has no accounts, and your videos and frames never leave your device. To remove data:

  1. Delete frames in Saved Frames (long-press to select several) or in your gallery.
  2. Clear the app's storage in Android Settings → Apps → Frame Capture → Storage, or uninstall the app, to remove your settings.
  3. Reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device's ad settings.
  4. To request deletion of analytics or purchase-related data held by our service providers, email tqtechofficial@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". If you bought Premium, include your Google Play order ID (GPA.…) so we can find the related records.

See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Requirements

Frame Capture runs on Android 7.0 or later and is available on Google Play.
