Please read these terms before using Frame Capture. They are written to be as clear as possible.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TQ Tech ("we", "us") for your use of the Frame Capture – Video to Photo Android app (the "App") and the website framecaptureapp.com. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
You may not: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except where the law allows; remove proprietary notices; circumvent ads, purchase verification or other technical protections; or use the App in any unlawful way.
Your content and responsibilities
Videos you open and frames you save ("Your Content") remain yours. They are processed on your device, and we do not claim any rights in them. We add no watermark to your frames.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and how you use it. Only extract and use frames from videos you own or have the right to use. Do not use the App to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, or to create or share unlawful content. Images of identifiable people may require their consent before you publish them.
Free version and advertising
The App is free to download and is supported by ads. Some features (such as PNG, HD and Original exports) may be unlocked temporarily by watching a rewarded ad. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to.
Frame Capture Premium
What it is: Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes ads and unlocks additional features described in the App at the time of purchase (currently including PNG, Full HD and Original exports, burst capture, range export, crop presets, and custom file names and save folder). It is not a subscription.
Payment: purchases are made through Google Play and are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. The price is shown in the App in your local currency, including any applicable taxes as determined by Google Play.
Refunds: refunds are handled by Google under its refund policies. You can request one through Google Play. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Restoring: Premium is tied to the Google account used to buy it. Use Restore purchase on the Premium screen after reinstalling or on a new device with the same Google account.
"Lifetime": means for as long as we offer and support the App on Google Play, without recurring charges. If a refund is issued or a purchase is reversed, Premium features may be removed.
Changes: we may improve, change or add features over time. We will not intentionally remove a core Premium feature you paid for without good reason.
Intellectual property
The App, the Website, and all related software, design, text, graphics, logos and the "Frame Capture" name are owned by TQ Tech or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks. Third-party components are used under their own licences (for example, the Google Sans Flex font under the SIL Open Font License).
Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services, including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Firebase and RevenueCat. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, that it will work with every video format, codec or device, or that a saved frame will have a particular quality. Output quality depends on the source video.
Keep your own backups of important videos and images. Deleting frames in the App also deletes them from your device's gallery.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TQ Tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim (or ₹1,000 / US$10 if you paid nothing), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TQ Tech from claims arising from your misuse of the App, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.
Termination
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) survive termination.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the App. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the App after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the App.
